Police Hunt Six Men Over Pro-Palestine Protest Mayhem

Scotland Yard is urgently appealing for help to ID six men linked to a pro-Palestine rally in central London. They are wanted over allegations of inciting racial hatred and displaying symbols tied to banned organisations.

One Arrested After Social Media Tips

The six men were spotted in social media clips from the protest on King Charles Street on 14 October. Thanks to public tips, the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command has nailed one suspect.

A 24-year-old was arrested in south-west London early today at 6am. He faces charges under the Public Order Act 1986 for stirring racial hatred. The man is now bailed until February to return to a West London police station. Police have also wrapped up a search at his south-west London home.

Counter Terrorism Chief Pleads for Public Help

Commander Dominic Murphy said, “Thank you to everyone who responded to our appeal. Public reporting is really helping the Met with its investigations into suspected criminality at protests. We continue to seek the public’s help to identify five other men we wish to speak with in relation to this particular investigation. Please look at their pictures and get in touch if you have any information that could help us.”

Detectives are probing many criminal complaints linked to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza.
