Teen girl gravely injured in hit-and-run crash in Bradley Stoke

A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a motorbike in a hit-and-run on Bradley Stoke Way, South Gloucestershire.

The crash happened just after 4:45pm on Thursday near the busy Willow Brook Shopping Centre. The motorbike hit the pedestrian and sped off without stopping.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene, and the victim was taken straight to hospital, where she remains under close medical care. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the girl’s family have been informed.

Road briefly shut as police launch hunt for hit-and-run rider

Officers temporarily closed the road to carry out an initial investigation but have since reopened it to traffic.

Police have now released a crucial image of the motorcyclist. The rider was seen heading towards Aztec West wearing black with a white helmet, captured on cameras shortly after the crash.

“We are releasing an image of a motorcycle rider we wish to speak to in connection with our enquiries. The investigation is ongoing, and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured relevant dashcam or CCTV footage.” – Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson
