Woman and Boy Stabbed in Louth – Manhunt Underway
A 26-year-old woman and a young boy were found stabbed at a home on High Holme Road, Louth, on Monday evening. Fortunately, another child at the property was unhurt, according to Lincolnshire Police.
Police Hunt for Dangerous Suspect
Officers are urgently searching for 29-year-old Daniel Boulton, who is known to both victims. Police warn the public: do not approach him, as he may be dangerous.
A knife, believed to be the weapon used to inflict multiple stab wounds, was recovered at the scene.
Police Clear Up Abduction Rumours
Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox dismissed speculation about an abduction, confirming the uninjured child found at the home is safe. He said:
“We are urgently seeking assistance to locate and arrest Daniel Boulton. Please, do not approach him as he could be potentially dangerous. We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at present.”
Community Shocked, Floral Tributes Left
Local residents have been paying their respects, leaving floral tributes near the police cordon. Chantelle Fenton, a town resident, said:
“I saw the lady a few times when I walked past but I never knew her. It’s just sad because it’s happened on your own doorstep.”
