Drama on Moor Road, Orrell, as little Dotty, a four-month-old Dachshund, was stolen at 6.50pm last Saturday. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) revealed the thief made a quick getaway in an unknown direction.

The suspect is said to be a man in his 30s, of mixed race, sporting a black jumper with “security” emblazoned on the front. Officers urgently asked locals for any information to help track him down.
