Toddler Killed in Horror Hit-and-Run on Charnwood Place
Tragedy struck at 6:50pm when a Honda Civic hit a toddler on Charnwood Place. The little child was rushed to Galloway Royal Infirmary but sadly died shortly after arrival.
The 54-year-old driver escaped unharmed. Police have launched a desperate appeal for witnesses.
Police Plead for Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Sergeant Bob McNay from Police Scotland’s road policing unit said: “Our thoughts are with the child’s family at this time, following their tragic loss.”
He added: “The investigation is ongoing. We are asking anyone who was in the area or has CCTV overlooking Charnwood Place to get in touch.”
