Tragic Blaze Claims Woman’s Life in Hammersmith Home
A woman has died after a fire ripped through a house on Delorme Street, Hammersmith.
Fire Tears Through Mid-Terrace House
The fire damaged part of the ground floor in the mid-terrace property. Firefighters found the woman inside and she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Rapid Response by Fire Crews
The London Fire Brigade was called at 10:39am and brought the blaze under control by 11:29am. Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Hammersmith, Fulham, and Chelsea stations battled the flames.
Investigation Underway
The cause of the fire is now being investigated by the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
