A heavy police and emergency services presence remains at The Drive, near the junction with Radcliffe Gardens, where the stabbing took place outside a residential property.
Man Arrested, Victim Rushed to Hospital
A Met Police spokesman confirmed officers were called at 3.46pm on Saturday, 8 February, following reports of a man stabbed at a home on The Drive. Both officers and London’s Air Ambulance responded swiftly.
The victim was rushed to an East London hospital. His condition is still unknown.
“A man was arrested nearby on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm,” the spokesman added. “He has been taken into custody at an East London police station. At this early stage, no one else is being sought in connection with the assault.”
