Fatal fire rips through Brentford home

A 34-year-old man, Ali Khan, died after a massive fire tore through a house on Netley Road, Brentford, on Sunday afternoon (November 14). The blaze broke out shortly after 4pm and took the London Fire Brigade over two hours to bring under control.

Heroic rescue efforts amid raging inferno

Firefighters deployed eight engines and 65 crew members to battle the flames at the severely damaged two-storey house. They discovered Ali Khan dead on the ground floor. A woman was rescued and rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Another elderly woman, believed to be homeless and aged 70, fled before fire crews arrived but was also hospitalised and placed in an induced coma. Their conditions remain unknown.

Road closures and ongoing investigation

Emergency teams closed nearby roads as the fire raged just off Ealing Road. Officers were called at 4:05pm to reports of the flat fire. Multiple neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution. The cause of the devastating blaze is now under police and fire investigation.
