Man in Car Threatens Girl After She Refuses to Get In
At around 8.40am on Wednesday 25 November 2020, a man in a parked Nissan Qashqai on Whistler Road allegedly asked a young girl to get into his car. When she refused, he reportedly made threats before driving off.
Suspect Described as White Male, 30s or 40s
The man is described as white and aged between 30 and 40 years old. The incident, although traumatic, ended with the child returning safely home.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detective Constable Joshua Gearing from the Tonbridge Child Protection Team said: “This was a very distressing incident and we are continuing enquiries to identify the motorist involved.”
“I urge anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the vehicle to come forward. Motorists with dashcam footage from the area should also check their recordings for anything that might help.”
