Gunfire Shocks West London Streets Two Nights Running
Police have launched an urgent appeal after two shocking shootings rocked West London over the weekend. Both incidents involved gunfire from suspects believed to be riding a moped.
Friday Night Shootout in Cornwall Crescent
The first shooting happened just after 10pm on Friday, 15 January in Cornwall Crescent, W11. Police were called to reports of a firearm being discharged in the area.
Saturday’s Raid on Ladbroke Grove Home
Less than 24 hours later, at around 10:05pm on Saturday, 16 January, gunshots were fired at a residential address in Ladbroke Grove, W10, causing damage to the property. Fortunately, no one was injured in either incident.
Police Seek Public Help
Detectives suspect the same offenders were responsible for both attacks. However, detectives remain open-minded about the motive. The investigation is being led by Trident West, with support from Central West BCU officers.
No arrests have been made so far.
