Man rushed to hospital after falling seriously ill in Finsbury Park
A man was taken to hospital after becoming seriously unwell in Finsbury Park, north London, on Saturday evening.
Emergency Services Race to the Scene
London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called at around 5:51pm on Sunday, 11 May following reports of a person in medical distress in the popular park. Paramedics and fast response cars were dispatched immediately.
“We were called at 5.51pm yesterday (11 May) to reports of a person who was very unwell in Finsbury Park, north London. We sent several resources including ambulance crews and paramedics in fast response cars. We treated one patient on-site and rushed him to hospital as a priority,” a LAS spokesperson confirmed.
Condition Unknown but Serious
The patient was transported under priority status, signalling the severity of the situation. His current condition remains undisclosed.
Despite swirling rumours on social media, officials have confirmed this is NOT a stabbing incident.
