Major Search Effort Underway
Volunteers from WightSAR, alongside two coastguard search and rescue units, are scouring water and thick woodland around Wootton Creek near Cowes. Divers and mud rescue teams have been focusing on the water near the Sloop Inn sluice gate, the last place Rosie was spotted early Sunday.
Family Pleads for Help as Police Continue Hunt
Rosie, who moved to the Isle of Wight in February for her job at the adventure camp, has left her family and friends distraught. Her parents are now on the island, supported by Hampshire Constabulary’s specialist officers.
“Rosie’s disappearance is totally out of character,” an insider said. Police continue to urge anyone with information to contact them on 101.
Community Rallying to Find Rosie
Rosie’s boyfriend and her uncle, a Labour MP, have made public appeals for help. The steady stream of volunteers and police working tirelessly reflect the strong community spirit as everyone hopes for her safe return.
