Woman Assaulted in Swindon Burglary – Police Hunt Dashcam Footage
Detectives are on the case after a woman was assaulted during a burglary at a residential property near Wilderness Golf Club in Parkfield. The incident happened around 3.55pm on Friday, 21 June 2024. The suspect fled with several stolen items, including jewellery.
Police Urge Motorists to Check Dashcams
Kent and Essex Serious Crime detectives have pinpointed key routes the suspect may have taken. They are asking drivers travelling between 3pm and 6.30pm to review dashcam footage. Areas of interest include roads leading to Underriver, Riverhill, Bitchet Green, and Hildenborough.
Man in Hi-Viz Vest on Park Lane Now Person of Interest
Detective Inspector Maxine Harris said police are searching for a cyclist spotted wearing a high visibility vest on Park Lane near the Buck’s Head pub and Sevenoaks Preparatory School at about 4.50pm. “We urge drivers to check any dashcam footage from this area – you might hold the vital clue we need,” she said.
