Third Suspect Image Released in Tunbridge Wells Grocery Theft Spree

New Lead in Doorstep Theft Investigation

Police have unveiled a third image of a man who may hold vital clues in a string of grocery thefts in Tunbridge Wells.

Earlier, officers shared photos of two men linked to these early-morning raids and now hope this latest release will help crack the case.

15 Thefts Shake St James Community

The spate of thefts hit the St James area hard, with 15 separate reports of groceries swiped from doorsteps between June 27 and July 13, 2020.

These crimes have left vulnerable groups – including the elderly, shielders, and families with small kids – struggling to get essential supplies.

Police Urge Locals to Come Forward

“We have now issued images of three men and are appealing to anybody who recognises them to contact us,” said Police Constable Ryan Hunt.

“These thefts are causing concern within the community and place particular difficulties on those who rely on their deliveries.”
