Man Stabbed to Death in Peckham Shocker
Detectives have launched a murder probe after a man was fatally stabbed outside a barber’s in Southwark. Police were called to a fight outside House of Ramish2 on Choumert Road, near Rye Lane, at around 3.15pm on Friday, 17 December.
Critical Condition Turns Deadly
Officers found the 27-year-old victim, named as Jobari Gooden, with stab wounds. Despite emergency crews rushing him to a south London hospital, he tragically died at 6.08pm. His family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie begged witnesses for help:
“This attack happened in the busy afternoon on Peckham Rye. Many people must have seen the fight, the knife, or where the suspect went. We need anyone with information to come forward urgently.
“With Christmas just a week away, another family is left grieving over needless violence in their community. Please do the right thing and call police. If you prefer, you can remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers.”
