Blond-haired man wanted after assault in Brighton’s Baker Street

Police are hunting a 40-year-old suspect following an assault that left a man injured in Brighton.

Attack in broad daylight

The incident took place on Friday, February 21, at around 4.15pm on Baker Street. The victim suffered minor injuries, but the suspect made off before police arrived.

Suspect description and getaway

  • Male, approx. 40 years old
  • Height: around 6’1” to 6’2”
  • Blond hair
  • Last seen wearing a grey hooded top, jeans, and light-coloured boots
  • Escaped in a small white van

Police plea for witnesses and footage

Sussex Police are urging anyone who saw the attack or the suspect to get in touch. If you have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time, your information could be vital.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or can help identify the man involved,” said a Sussex Police spokesperson.
