Blaze Breaks Out in Alleyway
Firefighters raced to an alley between Allayway Avenue and Abbeydore Road to find the motorbike fully engulfed in flames. One annoyed local, who wished to stay anonymous, slammed the arsonist, saying: “Cheers to the idiot that decided to set fire to a motorbike this morning. Not only did you scare everyone with the massive bang when it exploded, you’ve caused serious damage to fences and put people’s properties at risk as they tried to fight the flames.”
Firefighters Battle Blaze, Bike Destroyed
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed the bike was completely destroyed and the fire damaged nearby fences. The crew from Cosham 1 Station tackled the blaze using breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
Police Seek Four Hooded Suspects
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident. Hampshire police revealed that before the fire started, four young men wearing hooded tops had been seen fiddling with the bike. Officers are now urgently searching for the suspects.
