Man Staggers to Petrol Station After Knife Assault
A man in his forties was viciously stabbed nearby and managed to stagger to the BP petrol station’s night pay window, leaving a trail of blood. Witnesses describe gruesome bloodstains splattered across the forecourt.
One employee said, “A fight broke out, then a man was stabbed. He came over asking me to call an ambulance. He looked in a pretty bad way.”
Emergency Services Descend in Force
Officers from Greenwich rapidly cordoned off the scene, putting the area into lockdown. Paramedics treated the victim on-site before rushing him to hospital. Police told the petrol station staff to remain closed amid the investigation.

The London Ambulance Service alerted police just before 11.30pm on Tuesday, 21 July, of a man with stab injuries on Harrow Manor Way, SE2. The man was found near the petrol station, though the attack likely happened nearby. His injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. No arrests yet; inquiries ongoing.
