Body Found in Search for Geordie Hospital Star Katherine Watson

Tragedy strikes as police confirm a body has been found in the hunt for Katherine Watson, the 50-year-old ex-Army officer and beloved face of Channel 4’s Geordie Hospital. Watson, chaplain at Newcastle Hospitals, went missing on Thursday afternoon, September 19.

The grim discovery was made in Jesmond Dene, Newcastle. While formal ID is pending, the body is believed to be Katherine’s. Superintendent Darren Adams of Northumbria Police offered his condolences, saying:
