Weapons flash in Bognor chaos – cops hunt for witnesses!

Police are begging the public to step up with info or video following a series of violent clashes in Bognor. The trouble kicked off near Glamis Street between 5:30 and 6pm on Wednesday, January 24th.

Armed gang spotted fleeing the scene

Officers rushed to calls of a youth brawl around 5:40pm. Reports claim four individuals were armed before dashing off. Moments later, further disturbances erupted close by on William Street and Church Path. Police suspect the same gang is to blame.

Residents urged to check gardens for discarded weapons

Detective Inspector Gary Jacobs said: “We believe some individuals may have discarded evidence as they fled the scene and we are urging local residents to report any suspicious items in their gardens or around their properties.”

He added: “We welcome any info or footage from Glamis Street, William Street, Church Path, London Road and Hotham Park. These incidents appear to be isolated, involving people who know each other, with no ongoing threat to the public.”
