Stalker Craig Gibson Jailed After Months of Terrorising Woman in Hounslow
Obsessed Stalker Follows, Films & Threatens Victim
Craig Gibson, 38, of Staines Road, Hounslow, was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, 4 March. He pleaded guilty to stalking offences, damaging the same woman’s home, and breaching a suspended sentence linked to similar crimes.
For months last year, Gibson relentlessly stalked the victim. He haunted outside her house, tailing her in his car whenever she left. In a chilling move, he took photos of her car at different spots and sent them to her, proving he was always watching.
Rage-Fuelled Attack Shatters Victim’s Home
In December, Gibson lost control and smashed several windows at the woman’s house. This violent outburst capped a terrifying pattern of threatening behaviour that ended with his arrest in January.
Police Praise Victim’s Bravery, Warn Others to Speak Up
Detective Constable Lucy Stuttard said: “It is sheer relief that Gibson is now behind bars where he can’t continue to control, abuse and hurt the people around him. Gibson’s behaviour has made the life of the woman he targeted a living nightmare. Stalking can be a precursor to further harmful behaviour, so he poses a high risk.”
“If you are or have been the victim of stalking, please report it to us. We have specialist teams to support you and are committed to bringing perpetrators to account.”
