Breaking: Teen Terror Arrest Rocks Bishop’s Stortford
Met Police counter-terror officers have swooped on Bishop’s Stortford, arresting a 19-year-old man for alleged terrorist preparations.
19-Year-Old Nabbed on Terror Charges
At 6.57pm on Wednesday, 23 May, the man was grabbed on the street under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006 – for preparing terrorist acts. He was taken straight to a south London police station under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
Search Ongoing in Hertfordshire
Officers are also scouring a Bishop’s Stortford address linked to the suspect. The investigation is moving fast as inquiries continue.
