Victim Hospitalised With Serious Injuries
The victim suffered wounds consistent with a stabbing and was taken to a local hospital for urgent treatment.
Suspect Charged and Remanded
Karamvir Dhadda, 18, from Doebury Walk, Plumstead, south-east London, was arrested almost two weeks later on Tuesday, 7 September. He faces charges of possession of an offensive weapon in public and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8 September, and was remanded in custody. The next hearing is set for 11 October at Canterbury Crown Court.
