A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Brixton in the early hours of Thursday, June 28. Emergency services were scrambled to Streatham Place near Streatham Hill station shortly before 2:30am following reports of the violent attack.

Police Hunt Suspect After Attack on Brixton Hill
Officers believe the stabbing happened on Brixton Hill and have launched a manhunt for the attacker. A crime scene was swiftly set up opposite Streatham Hill station this morning as detectives gather evidence.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 2:24am on Thursday, June 28, to reports of a man suffering from stab injuries in Streatham Place, SW2. The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were deemed not life-threatening or life-changing.”
