Cash Crackdown at Border: Three Arrested with £10,000 Each
Border officers made a major cash bust during outbound vehicle checks on Saturday, 10 April 2021. Three men were arrested for carrying £10,000 each, suspected of money laundering.
Lads Caught Red-Handed
- 5.20pm: Two London men, aged 40 and 41, nabbed with £10,000 cash each.
- 7pm: A 39-year-old southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton man arrested carrying another £10,000.
All three suspects were released from custody but remain under investigation as police probe deeper.
Extra £10k Seized, No Arrest Yet
Officers also confiscated an additional £10,000 from another man under the Proceeds of Crime Act. No arrests have been made in this case, but enquiries continue into how he came by the cash.
