Channel 4 Teams Up for New Drama “Alice & Jack”
A star-studded new drama series, “Alice & Jack,” is on the horizon thanks to a powerhouse collaboration between Fremantle, Groundswell Productions, Me + You Productions, De Maio Entertainment, and Channel 4. The show is the brainchild of Victor Levin, the acclaimed writer and director behind hits like “Mad Men” and “Mad About You.”
Oscar-Nominated Stars Lead the Charge
Leading the cast is Academy Award-nominated Andrea Riseborough (“To Leslie,” “Birdman”), alongside versatile actor, director, and screenwriter Domhnall Gleeson (“Brooklyn,” “The Revenant”). They’re backed by a strong supporting lineup featuring Aisling Bea, Aimee Lou Wood, and Sunil Patel.
Top Talent Behind the Camera
Finland’s Juho Kuosmanen, director of 2021 Cannes Grand Prix winner “Compartment 6,” directs the opening episodes. The second block is helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Hong Khaou, known for the heartfelt “Lilting.” With Fremantle overseeing global sales, the production is set to make waves worldwide.

Victor Levin’s script tells the timeless tale of Alice and Jack, whose connection blossoms into an unbreakable bond. The series promises an intimate, honest, and surprisingly funny look at love in all its messy glory.

Filming took place across London, South East England, and sunny Gran Canaria during summer 2022, with Me + You Productions managing UK production and post-production.
