Murder Probe Launched After Man Fatally Stabbed Outside Wetherspoon’s in Chingford Mount

A 26-year-old man has been stabbed to death in a brutal attack outside a Wetherspoon’s pub on Chingford Mount Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 9pm on Sunday evening. Despite frantic efforts by paramedics and trauma doctors, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chaos and Horror Outside Pub

Witnesses described scenes of chaos and panic as bar staff sprang into action, using a defibrillator in a desperate attempt to save the victim. Police quickly put up a cordon, and Chingford Mount remains sealed off this morning while specialist officers comb the area for clues.

Police Launch Homicide Investigation

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have taken charge of the investigation. A police source confirmed the victim was found with a critical stab wound to the chest. Enquiries are ongoing as they search for suspects.

The London Ambulance Service deployed multiple units, including an incident response team, to deal with the aftermath. Police are urgently appealing to anyone who was near the pub at the time or has dashcam or phone footage to come forward.
