Man Found Stabbed Near Three Bridges Station – Police Hunt Attacker
Police launch urgent appeal after a 22-year-old man was found with stab wounds just steps from Three Bridges railway station. The victim was discovered injured on Valley Drive at around 4.30am on Thursday, 19 June.
Victim Stable After Early Morning Stabbing
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, police say his injuries are not life-threatening and he remains in stable condition.
The victim told officers he was attacked near the train station earlier that night. Witnesses report the suspect fled towards Somerley Drive.
An armed response unit scoured the area but no arrests have been made so far. Police maintain a strong presence in the community while the hunt continues.
Police Seek CCTV and Dashcam Footage
Sussex Police believe the assault happened between midnight and 4.30am. They are urging anyone who was near Valley Drive or Somerley Drive during that time to come forward.
“We’re keen to speak with anyone who may have been in Valley Drive or Somerley Drive during the early hours of Thursday morning,” said a Sussex Police spokesperson.
Officers are particularly interested in any CCTV or dashcam footage that could identify the attacker or shed light on what happened.
