Hit-and-Run Horror: Woman Critically Injured in Sutton Crash
Serious Collision on London Road
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a shocking crash in Sutton left a 21-year-old woman fighting for her life. The collision happened at around 10:15pm on Friday, 16 October, near the junction of London Road and Garth Road in Cheam.
Driver Flees, But Caught for Drink Driving
The pedestrian was rushed to a south London hospital in critical condition. Police say the driver failed to stop at the scene but was caught shortly after and arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He remains in custody as officers continue their investigation.
