Early Morning Stabbing Shakes Barking Road
Man Stabbed on Barking Road
Police were scrambled at 5.24am on Saturday, 30 October following reports of a stabbing on Barking Road, E13. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene where a 29-year-old man was found with serious injuries.
Victim Treated and Released
The victim was swiftly taken to an East London hospital. Thankfully, he has since been discharged after treatment.
Suspect Arrested, Investigation Underway
A 34-year-old man was arrested the same evening on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody at an East London police station as detectives from the North East Command Unit probe the attack.
Calls for Witnesses
Detectives urge anyone who was near Barking Road early Saturday morning and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward. Enquiries are ongoing.
