No Injuries in Hollington Shooting Scare
Detective Superintendent Till Sanderson has confirmed that nobody was hurt during the incident in Hollington, St Leonards. “This remains a fast-moving investigation as we work to understand what happened and who was involved,” he said.
Blank Rounds and Gun Parts Recovered
Officers have recovered several bullets at the scene, later confirmed to be blank rounds. They also found components of a firearm, which are now undergoing forensic examination.
Section 60 Stop and Search Order in Effect
Due to multiple people reportedly involved, a Section 60 order remains active in the Hollington area. This gives police powers to stop and search anyone, aiming to prevent further trouble. Police thanked the public for their cooperation during these searches.
