A 24-year-old man has been arrested after handing himself in at an east London police station in connection with a fatal stabbing.

Jack Hague, 38, died at the scene following a violent altercation on Corfield Street, E2, sparking a murder probe.

Murder Investigation Launched After Stabbing

Police were called at around 8.20pm on Sunday, 5 May, following reports of a fight on Corfield Street.

Officers arrived to find Jack with a stab wound. Despite desperate efforts by both police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, Jack was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family Informed and Supported

Jack’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers as a post-mortem is arranged.
