Man Allegedly Grops 13-Year-Old, Then Dances Off Down Church Street
Just before 8.30pm on Saturday 18 March, a shocking incident unfolded on Church Street. A man reportedly touched a 13-year-old girl inappropriately before breaking into a bizarre dance.
The creep then walked off when he found out the girl’s age.
Police Release CCTV in Hunt for Suspect
Police have been digging through extensive CCTV and eyewitness accounts. They’ve now released images of a man they believe can help crack the case.
“We take reports of sexual assault very seriously, and we are keen to speak with the person featured in the image to help with our enquiries,” said Detective Inspector Michael Fletcher.
“This was a traumatic experience for the victim. We’re working hard to identify the person responsible.”
“I’m also appealing to the man in the image, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward. He could hold vital information for us.”
