Victim Named After Fatal Stabbing in East Dulwich

Detectives have identified the man killed in a stabbing on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich. The victim is believed to be 39-year-old Dennis Anderson from Lewisham.

Brutal Attack Outside Off-Licence

Police were called at around 2:35am on Sunday, 10 February, following reports of a stabbing near the junction with East Dulwich Grove, SE22. Emergency services attended immediately, but Mr Anderson sadly died at the scene.

Investigation Underway – Witnesses Urged to Speak Up

Detective Inspector Domenica Catino, leading the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command, said:

“We need anyone who was in the area on Sunday morning to come forward with information — no detail is too small. The suspect approached Mr Anderson inside an off-licence shop, where a fight broke out before the fatal stabbing.”

“Our main focus now is to support Mr Anderson’s family and catch the person responsible. Officers are working around the clock to find the suspect and bring them to justice.”
