Teen Stabbed Outside High Street Shop in Broad Daylight

A 17-year-old boy was attacked on the High Street at around 4.55pm on Thursday, 9 March 2023. The teen was talking to a group outside a shop when he was suddenly assaulted.

The teenager suffered stab wounds and was rushed to a London hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police Snap Up Five Suspects

Just one day after the attack, cops arrested four males: a 17-year-old and 19-year-old from Gillingham, along with two 16-year-olds from Hertfordshire. All face attempted murder charges.

An 18-year-old woman from Rochester was also detained for conspiracy to commit assault. All five remain in custody as police investigation continues.

Witnesses and Dashcam Footage Urgently Sought

Officers are calling on anyone who saw the attack to come forward. Motorists with dashcam or locals with CCTV footage are urged to check and share anything that could help.
