Moped Rider Seriously Injured in White Hart Lane Truck Smash
Chaos erupted at 10:54am on Wednesday, 3 November, when a moped collided with a truck on White Hart Lane, N17. Emergency crews, including police, London Ambulance Service, and the Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.
The moped rider, a 59-year-old man, suffered a serious head injury. He was rushed to an east London hospital and remains in critical condition.
Truck Driver Arrested on Suspicion of DUI
The truck driver stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was taken to a west London police station where he remains in custody.
