Teen Stabbed in Retaliation During Electric Scooter Theft in Ealing Park

At 7.08pm on Sunday, April 11, an 18-year-old man was stabbed in Walpole Park, Ealing, after resisting a robbery attempt. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene following reports of a stabbing in the children’s play area.

Two Males Demand Scooter, Blade Flashes

The victim was relaxing with two friends when approached by two unknown men. One was armed with a knife and demanded they hand over their electric scooter. The victim refused, prompting one attacker to stab him three times in the upper arm before fleeing towards Ealing Broadway.

The injured teen was taken to a London hospital. Thankfully, his wounds are not life-threatening and his condition remains stable.

Police Hunting Two Suspects

  • Suspect 1: Black male, stocky build, around 5ft 10ins, well-trimmed moustache, brown eyes, well-groomed eyebrows. Wearing green joggers, black hooded puffer jacket, and green hoodie.
  • Suspect 2: Black male, slim build, over 6ft tall, black braided hair, brown eyes, wearing a black mask.

No arrests have been made. Police investigations are ongoing.

Detective’s Plea for Information

“This was violent behaviour which could easily have ended in tragedy,” said Detective Constable Damian Szpak of the Met’s West Area CID. “There is no place for knife crime or violence on our streets. We are determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice.”

“We urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward.”
