Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Superintendent Dave Kennett from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. He urged witnesses to step up:

“We know there were thousands of people in and around the venue. Many saw what happened or were caught in the crush. What they tell us is vital.”

Kennett added officers are combing through CCTV and social media videos to piece together the tragic events:

“Videos shared online show the scale of chaos inside entrances and the atrium. Any footage could help explain exactly what took place and why.”

He vowed a full, thorough investigation:

“Two people have died and a third is seriously injured. We owe it to them, their families and everyone affected to leave no stone unturned.”

The tragic incident has left a city in shock as authorities work to uncover the full story behind the deadly crush.
