A 29-year-old man has been arrested in Nottingham on suspicion of murdering 44-year-old Andre Foster in London. The suspect was taken into custody on Friday, 23 December and is set to be transferred to a London police station today, Saturday 24 December.
Man Found Stabbed at NW6 Home
The murder probe began after the London Ambulance Service called police at 9.55am on Tuesday, 20 December. Officers rushed to a residential address at Gable Lodge on Mowbray Road, NW6, following reports of a stabbing.
Despite efforts from London’s Air Ambulance and paramedics, Andre Foster was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem at Northwick Park Mortuary on 22 December confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, leading the investigation, said:
“This arrest is a significant development as we work to give Andre’s family and friends the answers they need. However, I urge anyone who was near Gable Lodge that evening or has information to come forward.”
