Teenager Andre Fatally Shot in Broad Daylight in Tottenham

Tragedy struck on Monday, 3 July, when 18-year-old Andre was shot dead on Constable Crescent, Tottenham (N15). Police rushed to the scene at 5pm after reports of an injured man, but despite emergency crews’ efforts, Andre was pronounced dead at the scene.

Manhunt Underway for Key Suspect

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams from Specialist Crime North is urgently appealing for help to find 18-year-old Reagan Konin. “We have now identified a person we want to trace. Have you seen Reagan? He is believed to have links to Tottenham, Haringey, and North London,” Whellams said.

“Please do not approach him if seen. Call 999 immediately.”

How It Happened: Moped Ride Ends in Tragedy

Investigators believe Andre was travelling on a moped when the fatal shooting occurred on nearby Stamford Road. Despite being hit, he carried on, turning left onto Constable Crescent before crashing into a parked car due to his injuries. Andre then collapsed.

The gunman fled the scene. He is described as a black male, late teens to early twenties.

“My thoughts are with Andre’s family. This shooting in broad daylight on a residential street is shocking,” said DCI Whellams.

“Officers are working round the clock. We will do everything to bring the culprit to justice. If you have any information – no matter how small – please contact us or report anonymously to Crimestoppers.”

Community on Edge; Police Step Up Patrols

Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, lead for Haringey policing, expressed sorrow over the loss of yet another young life. “The community’s concerns are completely justified,” she said. “Our teams are working hard and local officers will patrol the area to reassure residents. Please speak with officers if you have any concerns or information.”
