Crawley Assault: Police Hunt Ginger Suspect After Brutal Attack Outside Co-op
Detectives are on the lookout for a man linked to an assault outside a Co-op in Dorsten Square, Crawley. The incident happened on the evening of Friday, January 6, between 7.30pm and 7.45pm.
Suspect Description
- In his early 30s
- Around 5’10” tall
- Ginger hair with freckles
- Wearing a thick blue coat with a fur hood
- Blue jeans and blue training shoes
What Happened?
The 27-year-old victim was first approached and antagonised by the suspect outside the shop. Ignoring the provocation, the victim entered the store. But after leaving, the suspect confronted him again, dragging him around the corner and assaulting him.
The victim suffered major injuries, though thankfully they are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers want to speak with two men who interacted with the suspect after the assault, as well as a man who warned the shop assistant about what was happening.
