Tough new dispersal order slams Sittingbourne to smash antisocial behaviour! From 4pm on Monday 16 February until 4pm Wednesday 18 February 2026, police have locked down key town hotspots to keep troublemakers at bay.

Wide Zone Under Watch to Beat Disorder

The dispersal order targets a huge slice of Sittingbourne town centre. Streets under scrutiny include East Street, St Paul’s Street, London Road, and Park Road. High-traffic trouble spots like Sittingbourne Retail Park, the Train Station, Mill Way Skate Park, and Albany Park Recreation Ground are also locked down.

Police Given Powers to Toss Out Troublemakers

Officers can now order anyone causing chaos to clear off on the spot – or face arrest if they try to return. Dangerous or nuisance use of bikes and vehicles will see them seized without warning.

“We are committed to making sure residents and visitors feel safe. Intimidating or disorderly behaviour won’t be tolerated,” said Inspector Julia Bassindale.

“Officers will be patrolling hard, and anyone stirring trouble will be made to leave. Come back after being dispersed, and you’ll be detained.”

Spot Trouble? Here’s How to Report It

If you see antisocial behaviour, report it online straight away. In emergencies, or if a crime is happening, ring 999 immediately.
