Teen Attacked and Robbed on Canterbury Bus – Police Seek Witnesses

A teenage boy was violently assaulted and robbed on a Canterbury bus last July. The attack happened around 3pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, when the Triangle bus stopped at Westgate Towers.

Assailants Strike on Busy Bus

Two passengers attacked the teenager, stealing his phone, AirPods, and glasses. The victim was left injured and had to be taken to hospital. A member of the public bravely stepped in, causing the suspects to flee the bus.

Victim and Suspects May Know Each Other

Police believe the boy and his attackers are known to one another. Detectives now urgently want to speak to the good Samaritan who intervened, as well as any other witnesses.
