Armed Police Race to Hackney After Deadly Moped Shooting
Chaos erupted in Hackney last night as armed officers swooped on Middleton Road following a brutal shooting. Paramedics and police scrambled to the scene just before 10pm on Monday, after gunfire shattered the evening calm in London Fields.

Eyewitnesses say the attackers sped past on a moped before opening fire on their victim. The Met confirmed the shooting happened around 9.45pm, leaving three men hit by bullets. One victim is in critical condition, with two others suffering less serious injuries.
