Murder Shakes Epsom Neighbourhood

Police have launched a murder probe after a 47-year-old man was found dead at a home on Eleanor Avenue, Epsom. Officers arrived around 9 pm on February 7 following welfare concerns and declared the man deceased at the scene.

44-Year-Old Arrested as Major Crime Team Takes Charge

A 44-year-old local has been arrested and is held on murder charges. Surrey and Sussex Police’s Major Crime Team are leading the investigation, which is still in its early stages.

“This appears to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public,” said DCI Craig Emmerson. He paid tribute to the victim’s family and thanked the community for their cooperation during increased police activity.

Police Urge Public to Help Solve Epsom Killing

Surrey Police have appealed for anyone with information or CCTV footage related to the case to come forward. Tips can be given anonymously via Crimestoppers or directly to the police to help crack the investigation.
