Escaped Terror Suspect Spotted Near Wandsworth Prison
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed a major breakthrough in the hunt for Daniel Abed Khalife, the 21-year-old former soldier who escaped from Wandsworth Prison. He was seen fleeing from a lorry near Wandsworth Roundabout, just a mile from the prison where he broke free.
The Met has launched a massive manhunt and is offering a hefty £20,000 reward for info leading to his arrest.
Massive Operation Underway Led by Counter Terrorism Command
Since Khalife’s daring escape on Wednesday morning, the search has turned into a full-blown operation. Over 150 counter-terrorism officers and staff are working round-the-clock, backed by multiple police forces across London and beyond.
They’re following 123 active lines of enquiry as they close in on the fugitive.
Public Urged to Help With Footage and Tips
The Met has launched a dedicated website for the public to upload any CCTV, doorbell, dash-cam or mobile phone footage that could help capture Khalife.
“Every lead could prove instrumental in bringing Khalife to justice,” said Dominic Murphy of the Met.
If you have any info, or spot anything suspicious, the Met urges you to come forward immediately. The £20,000 reward is a clear sign they’re desperate to end this dangerous escape saga fast.
