Tragic Crash on Boringdon Hill: Young Biker Killed

Police are on the hunt for witnesses following a fatal crash on Boringdon Hill, Plympton. A black Nissan and a blue Suzuki motorbike collided at around 1.40pm on Saturday, 13 December.

23-Year-Old Rider Dies at Scene

Sadly, the 23-year-old motorcyclist, a local man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed. The car’s occupants escaped unharmed.

Road Shut as Forensics Probe Deadly Smash

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit and the Forensic Collision Investigation Team quickly closed the road to investigate. They thanked motorists for their patience during the disruption.

Mandatory Independent Inquiry Launched

Devon and Cornwall Police have referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct for a mandatory review, following previous police contact related to the incident.
