Man Fatally Shot in Lambeth – Police Hunt Witnesses
Detectives are urgently appealing for information after a 26-year-old man was shot dead in Lambeth in the early hours of Saturday, 11 May.
Victim Dropped at Hospital Before Dying
Police were called around 2.30am when medical staff at St Thomas’ Hospital reported a gunshot victim had been dropped off in a private car. Despite desperate efforts, Jazmel Dashourn Patterson-Low was pronounced dead shortly after 3am. His family is being supported by specialist officers.
Shootout on Westbury Estate
The shooting happened at around 2.25am on the Westbury Estate in St Rule Street, SW8. A post-mortem confirmed Jazmel died from a single gunshot wound. The Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the murder probe, but no arrests have been made yet. The car used to drop off Jazmel has been recovered and is key to the ongoing investigation.
Police Plea: Help Us Catch the Killer
Detective Inspector Martin Thorpe said: “About 40 people were gathered on St Rule Street Friday night into Saturday morning. A dispute quickly escalated after 2am, ending with shots fired. We thank those who’ve come forward already. CCTV and forensic work have given us multiple leads, but we believe others know what happened and who’s responsible. Please come forward.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh added: “The community and partners in Lambeth are horrified by Jazmel’s brutal killing.
