Predator Mark Terry Busted For Paying Girls To Abuse Children On Camera

Mark Terry, 55, from Ashford, has been locked up for cashing in on child abuse videos. The paedophile used an online payment site to send women £15-£25 for sick clips showing them sexually abusing young girls. The films, lasting 2-3 minutes, were sent live through a messaging app.

Thousands of Disturbing Images Found at Home Raid

In 2018, cops swooped on Terry’s home after a tip-off, seizing his computer. A forensic probe uncovered about 7,000 indecent images stored on his hard drive. Officers charged Terry in March 2020.

Sentenced to Nine Years, Lifetime Sexual Harm Order Imposed

On 8 August 2021, Terry pleaded guilty to 15 counts of encouraging or aiding child sex offences, plus 4 counts of possessing indecent images. He was sentenced to nine years behind bars and slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life.

Detective Warns of Online Dangers to Children

“This case shows how easily kids can be exploited online by strangers,” said Detective Constable Lee Sparks of the Paedophile Online Investigation Team. “Though Terry wasn’t physically there, he caused horrific abuse of young girls. It’s heartbreaking that we may never fully protect these victims. This complex investigation took time to reveal the full scope of his crimes.”

“The judge rightly recognised the seriousness of Terry’s offending when handing down a long custodial sentence.”
