Tragic Death of Tommy Bakeer at Mutiny Festival Revealed
The first picture of Tommy Bakeer – also known as Tommy Cowan – has emerged after his shocking death at the Mutiny Festival in Portsmouth. The young father and West Leigh shop worker died after taking two pills at the event.
Festival Horror: Two Dead After Drug Use
Police have confirmed that two people died at this year’s Mutiny Festival following suspected drug use. The festival’s second day was cancelled in the wake of the tragedy.
- An 18-year-old woman fell ill and later died at Queen Alexandra Hospital.
- A 20-year-old man from West Leigh – identified as Tommy Bakeer – was found collapsed and also died at hospital.
Desperate Hours Before Death
Hours before he died, Tommy reportedly reached out on a festival site asking if anyone could help him get a ticket. At the festival site, medics tried CPR on him after he was found unconscious.
Police Investigation Underway
“The deaths are not being treated as suspicious but investigations are ongoing on behalf of the coroner,” said a police source. “Officers continue to work closely with Mutiny organisers. Witnesses and friends are being supported, and next of kin have been informed.”
